In English Language Arts at E-STEM, we aim to cultivate students' abilities in reading, writing, listening, and speaking through a standards-based approach that supports literacy development and critical thinking. Our curriculum encourages students to engage deeply with a variety of texts, helping them build comprehension skills and explore diverse perspectives. Writing assignments are designed to strengthen students' ability to express themselves clearly and creatively, while structured discussions and presentations give them opportunities to practice articulating their ideas confidently. By valuing student voice, we create a supportive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore their thoughts, make connections, and develop a lifelong appreciation for language and literature.
