At E-STEM, our middle school math program emphasizes a standards-based approach that ensures students gain a deep understanding of essential math concepts and skills. By focusing on specific learning targets, we guide students to build a solid foundation in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking, preparing them for future success. We also value student voice in the learning process, creating a collaborative classroom environment where students can ask questions, explore different problem-solving methods, and share their ideas. This approach empowers students to take an active role in their learning, fostering confidence and a strong sense of ownership in their mathematical journey.
