Social Studies
OVERVIEW
In middle school Social Studies at E-STEM, students embark on an engaging journey through history, geography, and culture that helps them understand the world around them and their place within it. In 6th grade, students dive into Minnesota Studies, exploring the state's history, diverse communities, and unique geographical features. In 7th grade, they transition to American Studies, where they learn about the foundations of the United States, key historical events, and the nation’s evolving identity. By 8th grade, students expand their perspective in Global Studies, exploring different cultures, global issues, and the interconnectedness of countries worldwide. This progression provides a comprehensive and enriching Social Studies experience that builds a strong foundation of knowledge and critical thinking skills.
