Extended Day Learning
Extended Day Learning Program (EDL)
EDL is a program funded through the state and offered through the SPPS Department of Alternative Education. EDL courses include an academic and/or social-emotional component but include active, hands-on, alternative learning experiences for students. Popular programs like debate, theater, music, and Lego League may continue to be offered through EDL and courses may also originate from local student interests like cooking, creative writing, etc.
Program Details:
- Two Days Per Week - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00-5:00 PM
- Daily Snack Provided
- Transportation will NOT be available to start the school year. Transportation may be added once a program reaches an attendance of 100 students.
- Session 1 (Fall): October 8, 2024 - January 23, 2025
- Session 2 (Spring): January 29, 2025 - May 8, 2025
