My name is Noah Zernechel and I am the 8th grade ELD teacher, Physical Science and Global Studies co-teacher here E-STEM Middle School (Physical Science is co-taught with Samantha Olson and Global Studies is co-taught with Justin Hudalla). This is my 8th year teaching in Saint Paul Public Schools and my 2nd at E-STEM. I previously taught ELD and co-taught ELA classes to grades 9-12 at Humboldt High School. I hold a Master's Degree in Second Language Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and am a licensed ESL teacher. I am excited to support our 8th grade ELLs and help all 8th graders with the transition to high school!
I currently live in south Minneapolis with my wife and three cats. When not teaching, I love to read, cook, travel, camp, hike, run, practice yoga, and spend time with my friends and family. I also enjoy watching sports and am a huge fan of all Minnesota sports teams, especially the Timberwolves.
