Mr. Brian Hare

 

Hello,  my name is Brian Hare.  I am the 6th Grade Physical Science Teacher at E-STEM Middle School.  This is my 12th year in Saint Paul Public Schools and my 6th year at E-STEM.  I am super excited to welcome our new 6th grade students to E-STEM and cannot wait to get started this year in science. My goals are to help students gain a better understanding of how science impacts their daily lives and help them gain critical thinking skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.  

I previously taught 8th Grade Earth Science, 6th Grade Physical Science, and Makerspace at Capitol Hill Gifted and Talented. 

I hold a Chemistry and Life Sciences degree from the United States Military Academy and a Masters of Education degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

When I am not at school, I can usually be found at a sporting event watching or coaching either my son or daughter in volleyball, hockey, softball, or baseball.  Additionally, I enjoy traveling, reading, playing golf, and gardening.

I will be using Schoology primarily for course instruction.  Below you will see a link to our Science Calendar which will allow you to see the day-to-day activities in our class.
