Mr. Tanner Wright

Hello, My name is Mr. Wright! I am the 8^th grade English Language Arts Teacher at E-STEM Middle School. This is my 4^th year teaching in SPPS and my 6^th year overall. I am ecstatic to work on developing reading, writing, and analytical skills with the 8^th grade class this school year. My goals are to help best prepare the 8^th graders for high school, develop writing and reading skills, and finding something that the individual student will love to read.

I previously taught 6^th grade Washington Technology Middle School and 9^th and 10^th grade at Harding High School. 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Philosophy.   I also hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from Hamline University.

When I am not at school, I can usually be found playing sport, hanging out with family and friends, gaming, or reading a good book. I spend a lot of the summer golfing, playing and coaching baseball, and chasing my daughter around various parks in the Twin Cities.

I will be using Schoology primarily for course instruction.
