Zernechel, Noah

My name is Noah Zernechel and I am the 8^th ELD teacher and Physical Science co-teacher here at E-STEM (Physical Science is co-taught with Samantha Olson). This is my seventh-year teaching in Saint Paul Public Schools, but my first at E-STEM and also my first time teaching science. I previously taught ELD and co-taught ELA classes to grades 9-12 at Humboldt High School. I hold a Master's Degree in Second Language Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and am a licensed ESL teacher. I am excited to teach a new subject, support our 8^th grade ELLs, and help all 8^th graders with the transition to high school!

I currently live in south Minneapolis with my fiancé and three cats. When not teaching, I love to read, cook, travel, camp, hike, run, practice yoga, and spend time with my friends and family. I also enjoy watching sports and am a huge fan of all Minnesota sports teams, especially the Timberwolves.
